Since my workshop floor is no where level and I don't have room for a large work table, I assembled the tail boom from the ceiling.
I took the two top side stringers and marked the location of the fuselage formers on them. Then I hung them from the rafters, using wire.
It took a while to level everything.

Then I added the plywood formers using glue and metal brackets to keep them square. After they were checked for sqaureness, I started adding the other stringers.
