The elevator control rod connects to the elevator reversing horn using a ball and socket end bearing which allows the cyclic to move left and right
without twisting the control tube. The bearing is a grade eight steel steering bearing for large lawn tractors. It cost $5.00 new at the lawn mower repair shop near hear. Even comes with a rubber dust jacket to protect the lubricated bearing.
